TWO SUNRISE & TWO SUNSETS IN A DAY

A group of people admiring the rise of the sun from the sea from high land.  Watching sunrise and sunset during a hike or at the beach while hanging out with friends gives a wonderful feeling. Do you know the rise and set that we see when it just occurred is not real? Yes, the moment the sun is raised or set is not the real rise or setting of the sun. This is not only true for the sun. But, for all the objects that we suppose to see at the horizon. Therefore, this phenomenon in the case of the sun is called “ Advanced sunrise and Delayed sunset ”. The real sunrise and sunset occur only after two minutes of sunrise or sunset that we see by our eyes. This effect is due to the Physics Law connected with “Refraction of Light”. REFRACTION OF LIGHT Refraction of light means the bending of light when it travels through one medium to another. Doing research is my passion. To publish my research works in a simple and easily understandable for the people on the internet I've started 'Ahqaf Research Center', simply known as "ARC".

ARC conducts researches mainly based on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Cosmology, Technology, and other Science by comparing them with Holy Quran and Science itself. Our intention is to educate the people with the correct knowledge and motivate them to conduct their own researches and come with new ideas. Studies about the creations of the creator, people will get a strong belief and confidence in their hearts.

Some of you will wonder about the meaning of 'Ahqaf'. "Ahqaf" is an Arabic term that refers to 'Sand dunes' in English. This term is taken from the name of the 46th chapter of the Holy Quran which starts with:

"Ḥâ-Mĩm. The revelation of this Book is from the Only GOD - the Almighty, All-Wise. We only created the heavens and the earth and everything in between for a purpose and an appointed term. Yet the disbelievers are turning away from what they have been warned about." [verse 1–3]

Since I'm the only individual who is currently running the ARC and ARC is not a well-developed research center with resources like the physical building and others, we are working online. Therefore we are gathering knowledge from the internet and books for our researches. Due to that, we have cited those links, citations, and references to those relevant places. If anyone finds any mistakes in our researches we are ready to accept them and do our best to correct them or provide clarifications. Ordinary people will face some difficulties to understand some advanced research works. But we try our best to publish them in a very simple manner.
